Shannon Conover was a young bride.  They had a pretty rocky marriage and 9 children before she was diagnosed with three types of cancer - ovarian, uterine and cervical.  She believes that her depression and bitterness played a big part in getting cancer in the first place.  "So Shannon, I want you to write down the first day you decided to get cancer."  This was a task given her by Gary Young, naturopathic doctor and founder of Young Living Essential Oils, as she sat visiting with him at his treatment center in Ecuador.  

In the following video, Shannon reveals her entire journey for the first time.  It's a journey that began with sadness and hopelessness, then determination to live for the sake of her children.  

We plan to do a follow up interview to share more about what happened after her recovery.  She did get re-tested and there was no detection of cancer!  Then, soon after that amazing achievement, her husband left her and attempted to take her business with him.  There was stress, but also relief that he would no longer be around to abuse her.  A few years later, she remarried her Prince Charming, had another set of twins and has another one on the way!  Happily ever after...
